**35 Years of Trusted Notary Public Service** (562) 304-6169

With over **35 years of experience** as a licensed Notary Public, I've found that many people are surprised to learn how the notarization process really works. Here are a few helpful facts:

✔ **A valid government-issued photo ID** is generally required for notarization.

✔ Every signer must sign my official **Notary Journal** and provide a **right thumbprint** for transactions that require it under California law. A thumbprint is one of the best forms of identification and helps protect against fraud.

✔ **Did you know?** In certain situations, an **expired California driver's license or identification card** may still be accepted if it meets California's legal requirements.

✔ **No identification?** You may still be able to have your document notarized by using **two credible witnesses** who personally know you and are willing to swear to your identity. All three individuals must appear before me, the witnesses will be placed under oath, and each person will sign my Notary Journal.

✔ **Unable to sign your name?** You may still be able to complete your notarization through a **Signature by Mark**, when permitted by California law.
