Feeling fortunate to close out my birthday month last night with my favorite singer of all time, the wonderful Ruben Blades!

Had such a great time with my daughter, and all of the amazing folks that have supported my office and me in the last couple of years.

New uscis asylum policies
1. Mail your documents 14 days in advance
2. Requests for reschedule will be treated as no shows unless you can prove extenuating circumstances within 10 days of your no show.
This will only make things harder for asylum applicants, especially those who are not represented..

Cambios para personas con aplicaciones de asilo con USCIS.
1. Manda documentos 14 días antes de tu cita.
2. Pedir más tiempo podrá resultar en que te apunten qué no fuiste y sin buena razón que te manden directamente a la corte.

I am trying to raise money for my transfemale client.
After 2 months in Adelanto, she lost her apartment and job.
She is living with family. Her case was rushed through the Santa Ana immigration court and the judge pretermitted her application. He did not allow her to get a psychological evaluation or any other evidence to support her claim. She now needs to appeal, before July 25, 2026, at the Board of Immigration Appeals. This costs $1,030. If she does not she can be taken out by ICE. Please help me raise money for her legal costs.
