¡Una victoria increíble para nuestros Soñadores!

La Corte Suprema falló a favor de DACA, rechazando el intento de la administración Trump de terminar el programa DACA.

¿Qué significa esto?

1. Los beneficiarios actuales de DACA siguen estando protegidos de la deportación y elegibles para la autorización de trabajo.
2. Los beneficiarios elegibles de DACA pueden renovar su DACA por otros dos años.
3. Las personas elegibles que nunca tuvieron DACA deben poder aplicar en este momento.

An amazing victory for our Dreamers!

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of DACA, rejecting the Trump administration’s 2017 attempt to terminate the DACA program.

What does this mean?
1. Current DACA beneficiaries continue to be protected from deportation and eligible for work authorization.
2. Eligible DACA beneficiaries can renew their DACA for another two years.
3. Eligible individuals who never had DACA should be able to apply at this time.

Varias cortes de inmigracion por el pais han cerrado. La corte de inmigracion para gente NO detenida en 606 S. Olive Street, en Los Angeles, CA esta cerrada. En general, todas las audencias de personas NO detenidas han sido canceladas.

Para personas que estan detenidas, las cortes siguen abiertas y los jueces estan escuchando casos. Si usted desea visitar a un detenido, es muy importante que contacte al centro de detencion y averigue si estan permitiendo visitas del publico. Varios centros han puesto restricciones muy estrictas y no estan permitiendo visitas.

Si usted tiene un caso en corte, y tiene una audencia programada en estos dias, es muy importante que este checando diario si la corte ha reabierto. No asistir a su audencia puede resultar en una orden de deportacion dada en su ausencia.

Las oficinas de servicios de inmigracion y ciudadania (USCIS) han cerrado temporalmente. No habra entrevistas de residencia ni de ciudadania, y las ceremonias de juramento han sido canceladas. Tampoco estaran tramitando citas de huellas para aplicaciones. Si usted tenia una cita programada en estas fechas, debe de recibir una notificacion en el correo de su cancelacion.

Es muy importante que si usted cambia de direccion durante este tiempo, que registre su cambio de direccion con inmigracion. Cuando USCIS reabra, estara mandando notificaciones de sus nuevas citas.

"As of March 18, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has suspended routine in-person services until at least April 1 to help slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). USCIS staff will continue to perform duties that do not involve contact with the public. However, USCIS will provide emergency services for limited situations. To schedule an emergency appointment contact the USCIS Contact Center.

USCIS domestic field offices will send notices to applicants and petitioners with scheduled appointments and naturalization ceremonies impacted by this closure. USCIS asylum offices will send interview cancellation notices and automatically reschedule asylum interviews. When the interview is rescheduled, asylum applicants will receive a new interview notice with the new time, date and location for the interview. When USCIS again resumes normal operations, USCIS will automatically reschedule Application Support Center appointments due to the office closure. You will receive a new appointment letter in the mail. Individuals who had InfoPass or other appointments at the field office must reschedule through the USCIS Contact Center, once field offices reopen to the public. Please check the USCIS Field Offices page to see if your field office has reopened before reaching out to the USCIS Contact Center."
