📢Call for Papers - Pace Environmental Law Review

We are now accepting abstract and working paper submissions for our upcoming symposium on Health Law & Insurance Risks in the Face of Climate Change, hosted by the Pace Environmental Law Review. The symposium will explore how the environment impacts health and how these associated risks can be mediated by insurance, addressing the detrimental health costs of climate change. We invite legal scholars, practitioners, public health experts, and environmental policymakers to submit their work for consideration.

We are excited to share our next author spotlight for Volume 43, Issue 3 to highlight the article “Municipality of Bayamón v. Exxonmobil Corp. (2025): Bringing Racketeering Charges for Climate Justice” by Ilinca Johnson.

Ilinca highlights the narrative-shifting potential of novel climate litigation strategies, focusing on racketeering charges brought by 37 Puerto Rican municipalities to move society toward greater accountability and equity.
