My property is in a Trust. How should I sign my name?

Each title company and lender are different in their requirements when signing on behalf of the Trust. You will want to clarify with both to ensure the title documents and the lender documents meet the requirements of each.

For example, some title companies and lenders will have you just sign your name as long as all the trust verbiage is listed below the signature line.

Some will have you designate Trustee or Settlor after your signature

And some will want you to sign as the Individual, the Trustee and as the Settlor

Clarifying your signature requirements will help to eliminate errors and delays in processing the final stage of funding your loan.
