Several members of the of NAP's George Demeter Unit attended a special commemorative ceremony - "George Demeter Day" at the Massachusetts State House on April 12, 2018.

Under Massachusetts Law, the Month of April is Parliamentary Law Month and the second Wednesday in April is George Demeter Day. George Demeter is the Author of Demeter's Manuel of Parliamentary Procedure and the namesake of the Massachusetts Unit of National Association of Parliamentarian's (NAP).

The unit had a regular meeting this Saturday and is looking forward to planning our conference which is scheduled for May 14, 2015 at the Middleboro/Raynham Holiday Inn Express. Save the Date!!!

Immediate Past President of the George Demeter Unit of NAP Peter Senopoulos was honored by the NAP for his efforts in teaching membership courses and helping 4 individuals successfully pass the NAP membership test. Congratulations Peter!

The Demeter Unit held its Annual meeting this past Saturday and elected Bill Gillmeister as President, Kendra O'Toole as Vice President, Barbara Owens as Secretary, and Pat Herlinger as Treasurer. Congratulations one and all!
