Sometimes you have to stand up for what's right, even when it costs you everything. This is the story of Steven Gursten, who stood up for truth by exposing fraudulent testimony by a well-known "expert witness". His reward? Don't like watching other drivers talking on their cell phones and making the roads more dangerous? Here's an idea: buy a cell phone jammer and put it in your car, like this guy did. Or maybe don't do that, since it's illegal and he got fined $48,000.00 for doing it.

The U.S. Supreme Court rules that Maryland has been unconstitutionally double-taxing many of its residents for years. Specifically, Maryland did not offer a credit to its residents who paid income taxes in other states, a violation of the U.S. Constitution. Refunds will be issued in the future.

Some residents who earn income elsewhere will get a refund, and they and others will pay less going forward.

Bryan Stow, the fan who was beaten at Dodger stadium, hasn't received any money from an $18 million jury verdict. But his health insurance company brought in $1.6 million. This is possible thanks to the wonderful world of insurance subrogation.

First he was assaulted for wearing the wrong team's clothes. Then he was sucker-punched by the insurance system.
