Red Day Recap!
❤️🖤❤️🖤
RED Day is one of my favorite reminders of what makes this culture so special.
It’s not just about giving back. It’s about showing up together, working side by side, and having a genuinely good time while serving something bigger than ourselves.
We started our day at Good Knights of Lorain County with a tour of the facility and a walkthrough of their different work stations. It was incredible to see the scale of what they do and the heart behind it all. One of the most powerful moments was learning that they now build over 1,000 beds per month, an amazing milestone, especially when you think that was their entire impact in their first year. It really puts into perspective what consistent service can grow into. From there, we got to jump in and be part of the work ourselves, and we had a lot of fun doing it.
In the afternoon, we headed to the Second Harvest Food Bank where we scooped and repackaged cereal (yes… Reese’s Puffs definitely made an appearance and got a few smiles). There was a lot of laughter, teamwork, and a real sense of connection as we worked side by side. We wrapped up by cleaning and sanitizing our stations, leaving things better than we found them.
A huge thank you to Jen O’Malley with Ohio Real Title for generously sponsoring lunch at Good Knights. Your support helped make the day even smoother and allowed us to stay focused on serving together.
I left the day feeling grateful...not just for the opportunity to serve, but for the people who showed up with humility, energy, and heart. These are the days that remind me how lucky I am to be part of this group.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made RED Day what it was. ❤️
