Introducing Shireen L. Mahdavi, Esq. ✨

Family law isn’t something Shireen found by chance—it’s something she grew up with. Watching her mom build a family law practice and guide clients through some of the hardest moments of their lives shaped the way she approaches this work today: with empathy, intention, and a genuine commitment to helping people move forward.

She earned her B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine, followed by her Paralegal Certificate from UCLA, before completing her Juris Doctor at Southwestern Law School through the accelerated SCALE program—where she developed strong, practical advocacy skills early on.

During law school, Shireen worked directly with clients at the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law and gained invaluable courtroom insight externing for Judge Amy Pellman. These experiences, combined with her background in psychology, allow her to approach each case with both strategy and understanding.

Admitted to the California State Bar in 2022, Shireen is dedicated to helping clients navigate divorce and family law matters with clarity, strength, and support. She values resolution—but is also a confident and effective advocate in the courtroom when needed.

For Stephanie, family law isn’t just professional — it’s personal. Having experienced divorce both as a child and in her own life, she understands firsthand what her clients are going through. That perspective shapes the way she guides, supports, and advocates for every client.

A UCLA graduate and Certified Family Law Specialist, Stephanie has spent decades practicing family law, handling complex custody, domestic violence, and support matters with both strength and compassion. She also serves as a volunteer settlement officer for the Ventura County courts, reflecting her belief that thoughtful, out-of-court resolution is often the best path forward.
