Meet the July 12th Dog of the Day in the 2023 Westside calendar - meet Winston.

We adopted 3-year-old Winston Von Winden after our last GSD Emma passed away suddenly in 2019. Emma was from Westside, so we went again to “just look”. Winston immediately claimed Jim as his human dad. But the whole family loves this bestest-boy. Because he was an older pup, he was already potty- and crate-trained. He doesn’t chew up anything except Mom’s slippers. He goes everywhere with us - camping and boating - and he loves to swim in the pool, but only with a life vest (he’ll sink like a rock without it!).
Winston is loved by Jim, Roberta, Danny and Desi Woods (and multiple friends and neighbors too!).
