The West Warwick Police Department would like to extend our sincere thanks to Picerne Properties and Shady Oaks & Pilgrim Park Apartments of West Warwick for stopping by this morning with coffee and delicious breakfast treats for our personnel.

Your thoughtful gesture was a wonderful surprise and truly appreciated by the men and women starting their shifts early to serve our community. It’s acts of kindness like this that remind us how fortunate we are to work in a town where businesses and residents continuously show their support.

Community partnerships make all the difference, and we are grateful for yours. Thank you again for fueling our morning and brightening our day! 🚔💙

The results of our Pet Photo Contest are IN!! 🏆We have truly enjoyed seeing everyone's pet photos and getting to know a bit about the furry friends that live at Shady Oaks & Pilgrim Park. Meet Charlie! Charlie is a resident at Shady Oaks. He loves people, being a lap dog and loves to chase squirrels and hide from mom!

Meet Goose! He is a resident at Shady Oaks. His favorite thing to do is go to the grocery store and pick out new toys!

Meet Yona! She is a resident at Shady Oaks!
She is a 1 year old rescue labradoodle from Arkansas! She loves every human and doggo to a fault. Her favorite toy is the classic tennis ball, she adores going to training and coming with her human to work (to a dog groomers). She is working to be registered as a therapy dog. She is also working hard to be well mannered but has a tough time controlling her excitement around friends. She is filled with energy and loves her morning and nightly walks and going to doggy daycare. If you see her around the complex feel free to ask her for pets, she would love the pets and we would love to practice meeting new people!

Meet Ruby! 🥰

She is a rescue from Aruba. She is called a "Cunuku", which are native to Aruba and are bred to protect plantations and farms from rodents and iguanas. Ruby LOVES the sand, so beach trips are her thing. Ruby is 2 years old and loves people and other animals.

Meet Fumbles!
Fumbles is a 16 year old tuxedo cat who lives at Shady Oaks. He may be an old man but he’s still a kitten at heart. In his spare time, he enjoys sunbathing on the deck, sprawling out in front of the fireplace with his catnip, or camping out in his tent. No matter what he’s doing, he’s always dressed to impress with his tux!

Meet Ace who lives at Shady Oaks! His favorite activities involve sleeping, eating carrots, getting belly rubs, visiting his grandparents and sister, Mittens and barking at his mom when she works or tries to do anything important! He loves sunbathing…but from indoors. I do enjoy the occasional walk but when I do get tired, he asks mom politely to carry me home.

Ace loves to give kisses! His version of showing some love is a nose nudge and being super cuddly!
