Criminal charges dropped. Now we’re fighting for accountability.
Our client Walquiria Cassini spent 135 days in jail and 473 days on house arrest for crimes she didn’t commit. The detective who arrested her is now the subject of an internal affairs investigation.
On the two-year anniversary of her arrest, we filed a federal civil rights lawsuit.
