The silverback mountain gorilla is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife symbols, yet it remains critically endangered despite its strength and resilience. Sharing 98.4% of human DNA, their survival reflects a shared responsibility between nature and humanity. Two key conservation experiences gorilla habituation and gorilla trekking play an important role in their protection and coexistence.

Gorilla habituation gradually introduces wild gorilla families to human presence for research and conservation, while gorilla trekking allows visitors to observe habituated groups in their natural habitat under strict protection guidelines.
