As an E-class non-immigrant, you have the flexibility to change employers within the same U.S. affiliate network, as long as the affiliates were disclosed during the initial adjudication or subsequently approved. However, it's important to note that significant changes in the structure or ownership of the employing entity may require additional steps.

🔀 Changes in Employment: What You Need to Know

➡ Non-substantive changes that do not affect your eligibility for "E"
classification do not require submission to USCIS for approval.

➡ However, if there are substantial changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, or changes in ownership, you must submit Form I-129 (with E supplement) to USCIS for an extension of stay or obtain a new consular visa reflecting the new terms and conditions of employment.

➡ To facilitate reentry to the United States, consider carrying an explanatory letter from the qualifying employer, filing an I-129 with a request for a new I-797 Approval Notice, or applying to the State Department or consular office for a new visa reflecting the change.
