STAND. YOUR. GROUND.

Florida’s law states “a person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force, if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.”

“Stand Your Ground” law relates to the castle doctrine, expanding on that premise with “stand your ground” language related to self-defense and no duty to retreat.

I cannot begin to tell you how many lives this company has destroyed based on their deceit and personal greed! It is truly sad that they are escaping time in prison.  I have more clients than I care to imagine that ended up spending time behind bars due to a severe addiction to something that was handed out like candy by doctors and advertised to medical professionals as not being that addicting. So many families have been permanently destroyed!

Ps. I was the one that gave the advice at the end of the segment, where Americans should always demand verbally and in writing to speak with the consulate if ever taken into custody or detained in a foreign country. Oh well, I’m used to the media not giving credit where credit is due.

I hope and pray these kids hire competent counsel, absolutely no charges should be filed against them based on the videos and evidence I have seen!
