It was such a privilege to speak this afternoon at the Investiture of The Honorable Marci Rex, who was recently appointed to the County Court in Palm Beach County. I was honored to represent the F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association, where I currently serve as General Counsel, on behalf of our President, Freddelle Menard-Esquire.

Having worked alongside Judge Rex at the State Attorney's Office, I know firsthand that she has exactly what it takes to be a great judge in our community. Congratulations, Judge Rex! Wishing you all the best in this new chapter.

The Forum Club of the Palm Beaches brings together business, civic, and community leaders for informative luncheons featuring distinguished speakers who share insights on current events, public policy, business, and issues shaping our community and the world.

I am incredibly proud to serve as Vice Chair of Scout Outreach for Gulf Stream Council, Scouting America, where we work to raise funds to help children and communities who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in Scouting—to become Scouts, experience the outdoors, develop leadership skills, and take advantage of all that Scouting has to offer. 💙⚜️

For the third consecutive year, we hosted our Restoring the Village event, celebrating and recognizing exceptional leaders in our community while supporting this important mission.

This year, we were honored to recognize:

Our event featured inspiring speaker Shea Curtis, with WPBF’s Yasmine Julmisse serving as our wonderful Mistress of Ceremonies.

And one of my proudest moments of the evening was watching my son, along with the Scouts of Troop 116 and Girls Troop 4116 from Historic Tabernacle Baptist Church, conduct the Flag Ceremony. 🇺🇸

There is something incredibly special about watching our young people lead, serve, and represent the values of Scouting—and even more special when you get to watch your own child do it.

Thank you to everyone who continues to invest in our Scouts and in the communities we serve. When we restore the village, we invest in the future. 💙⚜️

I am honored to serve on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, assisting with the administration of the Bar Exam and helping to ensure that those admitted to practice law in the State of Florida meet the requirements of character, fitness, and competence.

I was incredibly proud to watch my brother-in-law, Attorney Edrick Barnes, welcome our community to his beautiful waterfront law firm for an evening dedicated to civic engagement, voting rights, and empowering voters.
