For anyone that owns a business that has non-compete agreements for employees, or for anyone that is an employee subject to a non-compete, the recent FTC decision may have a major impact on you and your business/employment.

The rule has not yet been added to the Federal Register, so it is not yet official. The rule will only take effect 120 days after it is added to the Federal Register.

We fully expect there to be numerous legal challenges to this rule, which may or may not result in a delay in its implementation/enforcement.

Regardless of what unfolds over the next several weeks and months, if you have questions about this issue, please reach out to us with any questions you have and we will be happy to assist you.
