Promising news for real estate in Palm Beach County! Despite the pandemic, real estate market values are holding steady. Some predicted a downturn in the market after the last few months, but that has not been the case. Our local market has proven its resilience. 💪 If you are considering selling, inventory is extremely low and homes are selling in a fewer amount of days. We did however see a nearly 50% decline in closed sales, which is understandable as many closings were postponed due to COVID-19. We do anticipate seeing a market normalization as we enter the summer months. We continue to follow all CDC guidelines and have implemented innovative practices, including virtual features to all aspects of the real estate transaction. The median sales price continues to rise in Palm Beach County! Despite the effects of COVID-19 in the last few weeks, home values have risen by more than 4%. This goes to show how strong our market is. 💪 As expected, we did see a big decrease in closed sales and inventory. This is understandable as it was necessary to postpone some closings for a later date. With the area slowly reopening, the forecast calls for a market "normalization" over the coming months. Housing is essential in our world. We will continue to follow safety protocols and implementing our innovative practices, including virtual features to all aspects of real estate.
