🏡 What does a proper rental property turnover look like?
Before I hand over the keys to new tenants, I always do a final walkthrough to make sure everything is exactly as it should be.
✔️ Professionally cleaned
✔️ Appliances spotless and working properly
✔️ Cabinets, windows, and doors cleaned
✔️ Keys, garage openers, filters, and extras organized in one place
✔️ Photos and videos documented for everyone’s protection
One of the best pieces of advice I give landlords is this: turn over the property the same way you’d like it returned.
Will every tenant leave it in perfect condition? Not always. But by setting a high standard from day one, you create clear expectations and start the landlord-tenant relationship on the right foot.
And don’t forget photos and videos can be your best protection when move-out day comes around.
