Wellesley College Pre-Law Society Our mission is to sponsor law-related events and to serve as a resource for students interested in a The Wellesley College Pre-Law Society was founded in 2002.

We host a number of events during the academic year including lectures, conferences, panels, and socials. We always welcome new members, as our society strives to serve and support students who are interested in pursuing a career in law. These events are aimed to provide students with an opportunity to learn more about the legal field. They will also be able to get advice and hear first-hand experiences from Wellesley alums in many different stages of their legal careers.

Want to be a published academic writer? 🀯

The Wellesley Law Journal is currently accepting submissions for the spring semester! If you've written an essay on a subject related to law, like the government or policy, then send it in a Word or Google doc to our email: [email protected]. We encourage students from all disciplines to submit, not just Pre-Law!

Submissions are due by March 15th at 11:59 PM.

Exploring Pathways in Legal Advocacy & Social Impact
Wednesday, March 3 5:30-6:30pm EST

This event will bring together professionals working across the fields of legal advocacy and social impact to engage in a discussion about the work they do and the journeys they took to get there. The evening will begin with a brief panel discussion and then will transition into breakout rooms where attendees can engage in more intimate dialogue with panel participants. This event is open to all students and alums interested in careers across the fields of legal advocacy and social impact. Panel Participants:
