Often the beginning of summer is the best time to file a modification because there is enough time over the summer to get the other party served and set up a trial date before the new school year begins. During this stressful time of year: Catch ‘Em Being Good!

Relationships break down when we take each other for granted!

So often we just expect people to do good things and we don’t say anything to them about it unless we have something to criticize. People thrive on positive reinforcement!

Take notice when your children, loved one, co-workers, family members, and friends do something kind, helpful, difficult, tiring, or selfless. Tell them THANK YOU. Tell them you APPRECIATE THEM. Tell them you LOVE THEM. Positive responses from you will make then want to do more good things and helps make your relationship with them stronger.

This might help you avoid coming to me for a divorce. Maybe you can still come see me, but for a couples estate planning package instead.
