This is a very important question to address for families with children who are now legal adults! Every child and family are different, so there is no one-size-fits-all approach, but it is important that you have the legal documents in place that will allow you to care for your child in the best way possible. This may include naming Powers of Attorney, providing HIPAA access, or giving guardians the authority to talk to educators and colleges.
