Spent some time today at Zenith Fi****ms in Afton, VA.

If you’re sleeping on Zenith, you’re messing up.

Friendly folks, know their business. Courteous staff and clean facility.

Got my hands on a few of their weapons at their range. HOLY COW!! Smooth as glass. The ZF-5P is just as advertised. It shoots just like it looks. Feels good in the hands. Excellent trigger out the box. Suppressed 9mm never felt so good.

Give em a look! You will NOT be disappointed!

I’ve said it in classes. I’ve said it in groups. I’ve said it to friends. I completely understand officer safety and their desire to be safe. No argument at all.

HOWEVER, where was the concept of SAFETY in this video? Officer #3 put Officer #1 & #2 in a dangerous situation. Not to mention the citizen getting shot due to a negligent discharge.

Officer #1 said dude was cool. Being compliant, etc., why disarm? Want him out of the vehicle, no problem. Bring him to the curb and keep an eye on him. LEAVE THE FIREARM ALONE! It’s not doing anything where it is and he’s outmanned if he gets squirrley.

Citizen now has a hole where one wasn’t. Officer #3 is unemployed and the city has a mega-lawsuit coming that they will probably settle for a HUGE amount if there is any justice.

Uncool.
