🏡 DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAXAHACHIE REALTOR | THE STEVENS TEAM

Some days in real estate are contracts and negotiations… and some days end with you standing inside a machine trying to grab flying money. 😂💵

Today was a good one!

🔑 CLOSING DAY! We got to celebrate another client officially becoming a homeowner in his brand-new construction home. There’s nothing better than watching someone walk away from the closing table knowing those keys are officially THEIRS. Congratulations!! 🏡🙌

🏠 Then we headed over to the Elmwood Homes model grand opening at Lavante in Waxahachie, TX and got a first look at the beautiful new model. If you’re considering new construction in Waxahachie or Ellis County, there are some incredible communities, builders and opportunities out there right now—and having an agent representing YOU can make a huge difference.

💵 And somehow I ended up inside the money machine trying to catch cash flying everywhere. 😂 Just another completely normal day in real estate.

🏡 DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REAL ESTATE AGENT — some days are nonstop… and some moments remind you to slow down and take it all in. 🙌

Today was a little bit of both.

🔑 Started with a final walkthrough on a brand-new construction home getting our clients one step closer to closing day.

💻 Then jumped on a Zoom call with a builder and our out-of-state clients who are building their home here in Texas. Building from another state can feel overwhelming, and that’s exactly why having a local Realtor on the ground matters.

🌅 Somewhere in the middle of all the running around, the Texas sky decided to SHOW OFF. I had to stop for a second and appreciate it.

🏠 Then it was off to another final walkthrough, making sure everything was ready before our clients get the keys.

🎥 After that, we filmed some content for one of The Stevens Team’s listings because selling a home today is about a lot more than putting a sign in the yard. Marketing matters.

And finally…

🚗 On the drive home, I pulled over for a few minutes. No phone call. No appointment. No rushing to the next thing. Just a chance to sit there, relax and enjoy the moment.

Real estate can be fast-paced, but days like this remind me how much I love what we get to do — helping people buy, sell, build and move to North Texas. ❤️
