MCLA Architectural Lighting Design

MCLA Architectural Lighting Design Founded in 1996, MCLA is an architectural lighting design firm which creates integrated solutions that reveal and enhance the architecture.

MCLA is a thriving architectural lighting design firm founded in 1996 by Maureen Moran. As a lighting design firm, MCLA collaborates with architects, designers, developers, and owners to create places for working, learning, visiting, conferencing, and socializing. As lighting designers, creating integrated solutions that reveal and enhance the architecture is central to our work. Yet, as advisors

to our clients and advocates for the users of the spaces we design, our concerns are necessarily broader. Issues of initial and long-term cost, sustainable design, ease of maintenance and durability, and flexibility use are as important as the quality of light to occupants and facility managers. Professional expertise and technical support allows MCLA to design projects of all types, including corporate headquarters, historically preserved sites, museums and exhibits, retail, malls, restaurants, hotels, conference centers, videoconference and system control rooms, libraries, archives, performing arts centers, and academic facilities.
