I recently worked with a buyer who had been looking for a home for years. She had her must-haves list and a clear budget but just wasn’t finding anything that felt right. We decided to pause and look at what homes had actually sold in the past 6 to 12 months. The result? Not a single one matched what she was hoping for. That moment was frustrating but also freeing. It showed us that what she wanted didn’t exist in today’s market and gave us a chance to reassess. Most agents skip this step and keep showing homes that don’t fit.
