📢 The Independence Through Enhancement of Medicare and Medicaid (ITEM) Coalition, coordinated by Powers Law, issued a statement in response to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) final rule on CY 2026 Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D programs.
The Coalition and its members express disappointment in CMS’s decision not to expand coverage for anti-obesity medications and continue to advocate for broader access to these potentially life-changing treatments.
