Artifcts We all have items that hold meaning—things we’ve collected, inherited, or simply kept over time.

Artifcts helps you preserve what matters most, and makes it easy to document what an item is, why it matters, and what should happen to it next.

Some of your family’s best stories only come out once a year. ❤️

They’re tucked inside the ornament box, written in the margins of a recipe card, and shared around the holiday table.

This November, we’re helping you document, preserve, and share the traditions that make the holidays yours, so your family can enjoy their stories for years to come.

We’re also making space for the season with our brand-new YouTube series, Decluttering Ahead of the Holidays! 🏡

And if you could use a little inspiration for your first, or next, five Artifcts, take our NEW Memory Keeper Quiz. You’ll discover your memory keeper personality and receive a personalized guide to help you get started.

Here’s to the merry, the cheery, and the memories worth keeping. ✨

Sometimes family history comes with a side of fries. 🍟

For Matt, a keepsake from a McDonald’s opening brings back memories of living in Geneva in 1976.

He remembers the arrival of Switzerland’s first McDonald’s causing quite an uproar. Meals were an occasion to sit down, connect, and enjoy one another’s company. Fast food took some getting used to!

The original keepsake is gone, but Matt preserved its story in an Artifct, a little window into a place he once called home.

🔥 Settle in for another Fireside Stories with Matt, then explore his collection of Artifcts from this series.

It started with a pumpkin and a power drill. Now there’s a whole family of ghouls. 👻

Last year’s pumpkin supposedly resembled a Moroccan lantern. The family wasn’t entirely convinced. This year, butternut squash got the ghostly treatment, and another chapter in the family’s Halloween story.

Start a ghoulish tradition of your own in 3 steps:

1. Gather your gourds and your people. Let everyone choose a butternut squash.
2. Bring your ghouls to life. White paint and a black paint pen give each one its own personality.
3. Keep the story alive. Artifct the photos, the laughter, and everyone’s artistic interpretations. Revisit them together next Halloween.

Years from now, your family opens the box labeled “miscellaneous.” What will they find, and what will they understand? 👻

A faded photograph. A tiny trinket. A Halloween costume. A recipe card with a suspicious orange stain.

You may know exactly why you kept each one. Your family might be left with the mystery of guessing.

This Halloween, choose one thing from that box. Take a photo, add its story in Artifcts, and capture the names, traditions, and little details that make it meaningful. You could even record yourself telling the story. 💚

Our latest ARTIcle opens the mystery box and explores how to keep those memories from becoming unanswered questions.

What’s one family keepsake you wish you knew more about?

One day, your family may have the keepsake. Give them the story, too. 💛

Why you saved that drawing. Who that heirloom belonged to. What made Grandma’s blueberry pie a family tradition.

Use Artifcts because you want to make space without losing the memories.
Because you want your children to understand what you’re passing down.
Because the stories you know by heart may be stories your family has never heard.

Whether you’re letting something go or keeping it in the family, preserve the reason it mattered.

Start with one keepsake.

🔥NEW FIRESIDE STORIES | with Matt

What would you give to hear someone you love sing your childhood lullaby one more time? 🎶

In today’s Fireside Stories with Matt, a photo of his childhood home brings back memories of learning Portuguese, and a song he still remembers decades later.

At four or five, Matt helped translate for his parents. These days, he jokes that his most useful phrase is “I don’t speak Portuguese.” 😂 But he can still sing that lullaby.

So he recorded it and saved it in an Artifct for his kids. He says it’s so they can laugh someday. We suspect they’ll love hearing Dad’s voice just as much.

An old photograph is a wonderful place to start. Add your voice and the story behind it, and you give your family even more to hold onto. 💛
