1. Freedom of Speech under the 1st amendment to the U.S. constitution is alive and well; even for rappers who in recent history have had their words weaponized against them in criminal trial after criminal trial.

2. Defamation law remains intact - truth is an absolute defense to defamation claims, and public figures have a higher burden to overcome when accusing others of defamation.
