We are looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team at our CPA Firm in Warwick, NY!

Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:

-Maintain accurate financial transactions and files
-Reconcile entries accordingly
-Reconcile credit card accounts
-Prepare ACH payments and post payments
-Record daily financial transactions
-Frequently use spreadsheets and other software to generate reports
-Post journal entries
-Process bank reconciliations
-Data entry in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and other Accounting Software
-Answer phone calls, emails, and faxes and accurately relay messages
-Address client concerns calmly and professionally

Work Hours:

2-3 Days Per Week - 9:00AM to 5:00PM

Flexible day schedule with weekend availability during tax season.

Bookkeeper Qualifications / Skills:

-Meticulous attention to detail
-Knowledgeable in full cycle accounting and general accounting principles
-Able to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve, thinking both creatively and logically
-Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
-Verbal and written communication skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

-Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
-Previous bookkeeping experience required
-1 to 3 plus years' experience with QuickBooks is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Filing electronically with direct deposit is the quickest way to get refunds, and it can help some taxpayers more quickly receive any remaining stimulus payments they may be entitled to."
