These folks have been presenting estate planning seminars in Warsaw and other local communities. They label their private individual meetings as "clarity sessions" and none of them appear to be practicing Missouri licensed attorneys. The SimpleEstateDocs website they promote in their materials clearly doesn't think you need [that REALLY inconvenient & expensive] lawyer unless you actually read the fine print/terms of service for that website:
Website: “Rather than having to take your time and be inconvenienced to visit with an attorney face to face, through the power of the internet and technology our experts bring the entire process direct to you via the internet. No waiting, no travel, no big money lawyer bills. Instead you have the convenience to complete the interview on your time and at your leisure. No big legal bill. Software and taking the attorneys time and cost of an office out of the picture enables us to price your comprehensive plan at a small fraction of what you would have to pay otherwise. Plus, you get far more benefits than through the traditional process and all made possible through the power of technology.”
The fine print:
Terms of Service: “What We Do NOT Do. The products sold by EDP, and the information provided by EDP, are not legal services or legal advice. General legal information (such as the general legal information available on this website), legal forms and legal templates are different than legal advice. Legal advice involves the application of law to a specific person's legal circumstances. EDP does not provide legal advice. If you have questions about the products sold by EDP, and whether they are appropriate to your specific circumstances, you should consult with a licensed attorney in your area. THE PRODUCTS SOLD BY EDP ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE ADVICE OF AN ATTORNEY.”
