A year ago, the house, dubbed the “Tetris house” by the California Sun, wouldn’t have turned any heads. It was a soft jade green when , the artist behind the new design, first put his brush to it. But now the house is a flash of futurism on a street lined with old school Victorians in muted yellows and eggshell blues. Rectangular blocks of cobalt blue, acid green and magenta checker its facade like neon pixels, wrapping around its bay windows. A large, polygonal metal sculpture, reminiscent of works by the art studio HYBYCOZO, sits out front. In recent weeks, the house has gone unexpectedly viral; a photo of the house posted by Panneton racked up 10,000 likes.
