 Take an active role in obtaining a final mortgage commitment. Respond quickly to your mortgage lender’s request for information and follow-up to make sure that your mortgage loan is approved and ready to close on time.

 Contract to buy a home (whether called an “Offer to Purchase,” “Contract to Purchase” of “Purchase & Sales Agreement”) are legally binding on you.
