Have you ever kept trying to make something workâbut it just wouldnât?
A job?
A friendship?
A relationship?
A marriage?
Iâve worked with good people before, but sometimes we had different philosophies, work styles, personalities, or expectations.
Whether the differences were small or big, the result felt the same:
It just wasnât working.
That doesnât always mean someone is a bad person. It doesnât mean you didnât try hard enough.
Sometimes, two people simply donât work well together.
The same can be true in a marriage.
You can keep talking, adjusting, giving, and hoping things will change. But at some point, you may have to stop asking:
"How do I make this work?â
And start asking:
âWhat do I need to do if it isnât working?â
Realizing something isnât working doesnât make you a failure.
Sometimes, it gives you the clarity you need to move forward.
