✈️ Tourist visas and CBP-limited stays - Recently, after reviewing a visitor’s recent U.S. entries, the officer limited the stay to less than a month rather than the usual 6 months allowed on a B1/B2 visa. CBP officers have discretion to review an entering visitor’s recent travel and limit his or her stay if the officer suspects that visitor is here for a different purpose other than vacation or short term business, or has entered numerous times or for extended period in recent months.
