Mother’s Day can be beautiful for some and painful for others. Not everyone gets to spend this day with their mom, and some of us haven’t for a very long time.
But one thing life taught my sisters and me is to focus on the love we DO have. We learned to hold onto each other tightly and create our own sense of home, comfort, and family. 🤍
My sisters are 7 and 9 years younger than me, so in many ways they were my first babies. We grew up loving each other through a lot, and that bond is something I’ll never take for granted.
My beautiful girls are the reason I became the mother I am today, and the reason I never quit. And to my bonus babies who weren’t with us today, you are always in my thoughts and prayers. 🤍
Today, I’m thinking about everyone grieving, healing, missing someone, or simply learning to appreciate the people who showed up for them in different ways.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas and nurturing souls out there. 💐💕
