The Virginia Beach Police Explorers is an orginization that takes people the ages of 14-21 to prepare you for a career in law enforcement with leadership oppertunities, community service, and constant, positive police interaction. We are a organization that is geared toward working to better the community, by offering positive role models to their peers. As an Explorer, you work hand in hand with
officers to serve the community to the best of our abilities. While in this group you can expect to learn teamwork, leadership, responsibility, personal accountability, and critical thinking. You receive training in traffic direction, first aid CPR/AED, McGRuff and NCIC/VCIN. As you progress through this program you develop the skills to successfully enter the workforce, and become a contributing member to society; whether your career be in law enforcement or elsewhere this is the program for you.
