🏡 From Listing to Legacy: Why Estate Planning Matters in Every Transaction

I’m excited to be teaming up with TitleQuest and Kat Contreras for a fun and interactive session created specifically for real estate professionals!

Estate planning and real estate cross paths way more often than people realize. A client passes away in the middle of a transaction. A property is owned by a trust. Someone says, “But Mom told me the house was mine.” Or everyone suddenly realizes no one knows who actually has the authority to sign. 😬

So instead of spending an hour talking at you about estate planning, we’re going to put your instincts to the test.

We’ll work through real-world scenarios, spot the red flags, talk about what happens next, and connect the dots between estate planning, property ownership, and getting a transaction to the closing table.

🎯 Expect a little competition, some “wait…WHAT?” moments, and practical information you can actually use with your clients.

On Senior Citizens Day, I’m remembering one of my greatest treasures: my Nanny. 💛

August 28th is Nanny’s heavenly birthday, and August 20th marks the anniversary of her passing. Seeing her handwritten recipe reminds me that the people we love leave pieces of themselves behind in the most meaningful ways — in recipes, traditions, stories, and the way they cared for us.

Today is a beautiful reminder to honor the seniors in our lives who have made such a lasting impact. It is also a reminder that sometimes love means having the hard conversations.

Conversations about wishes, care, family, and planning may feel uncomfortable, but they can prevent confusion, stress, and conflict later.

Having Nanny’s handwritten recipe is a treasure. Knowing her wishes were honored is a gift.

So today, sip the tea, save the recipes, ask the questions, and make sure the people you love have peace of mind. ☕
