One thing I wish clients (current and future) would understand is that yes, it would make things so much easier for most if the local courts had access to each others systems from city to city BUT the reality is they don’t. Honestly, as a defense attorney I wouldn’t like that to occur either.

POINT OF THE MATTER:

Bring your paperwork YOU need for your case to court. Don’t depend on anyone or any court to have the information you believe they should have.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything but that’s only because I’ve been booked, busy & BLESSED ✨ Get into these releases from being incarcerated that were secured for my clients. Now instead of waiting in jail or the detention center (juvenile clients) for their day in court, my clients can continue to participate in school, employment, and daily activities we often take for granted. Activities that would have been lost or stayed while incarcerated. They’re able to care for their families. They’re able to be physically supported by their village…The loss of personal touch can be huge and mentally exhausting when dealing with criminal charges and you’re locked away from your loved ones.

(Last slide) I was also able to even get my one of my client’s charges for failing to appear in court outright dismissed at their bond hearing. It can be done!
