When the computer algorithm gets it wrong, the consequences can be serious.

That’s why an experienced polygraph examiner should never rely solely on the algorithm. The charts, the data, the questions, and the full context all matter.

I have had MANY people come to me with prior polygraph reports where it was clear the examiner leaned too heavily on the algorithm instead of properly analyzing the exam.

That can lead to someone failing when they should have passed.
