Due to inclement weather and ice on the roads, Ludeau Law Firm will be closed until at least noon today. If you have an appointment scheduled today, we will reach out and reschedule ASAP!

Also, all state offices, including the Evangeline Parish and Ville Platte Courthouses, are closed today.

Stay safe out there and bundle up if you can!

Announcement:

The law office of Fontenot & Ludeau is proud to announce that Marcus L. Fontenot has recently been elected District Judge, 13th Judicial District Court, Division A!

As a result, Mr. Fontenot will no longer be able to serve clients in his private law practice and will be closing his private practice effective August 23, 2022.

Christopher Ludeau will continue the private practice, as Ludeau Law Firm, and will be happy to assist any of Mr. Fontenot’s former clients.

In the event any of Mr. Fontenot’s former clients would like to obtain their files or original legal documents, including Wills, please contact the office at (337) 363-2388 to obtain these documents.

Thank you for allowing Mr. Fontenot to assist with your legal needs and he looks forward to serving as Judge!
