Beware what you share on social media during a divorce or co-parenting dispute.
That post, photo, comment, or video may feel harmless in the moment—but once it's online, you may not control where it ends up or who sees it.
During a divorce or custody matter, think twice before posting about:
• Your children or co-parent
• Parenting disagreements
• New relationships
• Vacations, purchases, or your finances
• Arguments or private conversations
• Your feelings about your ongoing case
Even deleted content may not truly disappear if someone has already saved or shared it.
Before you hit “post,” ask yourself: Would I be comfortable explaining this post in court?
