GCF has another exciting reason to celebrate! David M. Carter has been named the Best Lawyers® 2027 Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs “Lawyer of the Year” in the Orlando Region.

For 2027, David is the sole recipient for Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs across the Orlando Region, which includes Indian River, Brevard, Orange, and Osceola counties.

This marks the third time David has received the honor, following his selections in 2015 and 2021. Being chosen once is a significant professional achievement. Being selected three times by attorneys who understand the demands of this work makes this recognition especially meaningful.

Summer at GCF brought new faces, fresh energy, good questions, and plenty of reasons to smile.

We are grateful to our summer interns, Noah Marine, Emma O’Riordan, Ethan Darnell, and Ben Jamieson, for the time and effort they shared with us this summer. From personal injury and real estate to estate planning, marketing, and administration, they jumped into projects across the firm and got a closer look at the teamwork behind what we do every day.

Of course, it would not be summer at GCF without a few fun moments along the way, including team lunches, Kona Ice, Flamingle Social and the everyday laughs that make the office feel like GCF.

Thank you, Noah, Emma, Ethan, and Ben, for spending part of your summer with us. We wish each of you the very best as you move into your next chapter and have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great success in all that lies ahead.

GCF went pink for a little summer fun! Our attorneys and staff stepped away from the usual afternoon routine for some Flamingle fun, complete with drinks, snacks, treats, raffle prizes, and plenty of time to mingle with the GCF flock.

We love any excuse to bring our team together, enjoy a few laughs, and celebrate the people who make this firm what it is every day.

We have truly enjoyed having Joe Gage and Savannah DeLullo as part of the GCF team this summer.

As Summer Associates, they took on meaningful legal research and drafting assignments, worked with attorneys across several practice areas, and brought enthusiasm and curiosity to every opportunity. They also made the most of firm life, from lunch outings and office fun to our Kona Ice social.

Savannah recently completed her first year at Harvard Law School, where she earned the Best Brief Award for the Appellant in the 1L Moot Court competition. Joe recently completed his first year at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and plans to pursue an LL.M. in Taxation and a career in estate planning and corporate transactions.

Joe and Savannah made a wonderful impression during their time with us, and we are grateful for all they contributed. We wish them both continued success as they return to law school and take the next steps in their legal careers.
