There are definitely two types of Realtors in our market. We recently closed a sale to my first time buyers. They were so excited to get the keys. When I opened the door for them, we saw that the place was completely full of junk. They were devastated. The big Vancouver real estate firm (I won't name them here but you can DM me) that sold it reached out to me when I sent them a bill for $700 to clean it.
The managing broker called me and said "Joe, we are sorry that it was left like that but that's the way it goes. You can sue the seller but we have no responsibility here. Heck Joe, it's no big deal, I spend $700 on a dinner out" My response was, "well Ken, I don't"
Like I said, there are two types of Realtors. I paid the bill.
