🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Rory Flay 🌟

Rory is a family law attorney at Butchard Law and has been practicing since 2019. He started in public defense with a focus on Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) cases and found his true passion in Family Law. Minor Guardianships are what drive him most because the best interest of the child comes first in every decision.

Rory volunteers because he values the chance to spend meaningful time with clients and provide focused legal guidance that can make a real difference. He enjoys the challenge of addressing important issues in a structured, time-limited way, which also helps him sharpen his own practice!

He describes volunteering as rewarding and almost soothing after a busy day. Rory’s compassion, generosity, and dedication shine through in every client he interacts with.

The annual golf tournament was a major success! The weather was beautiful and we were surrounded by amazing friends and colleagues. I even won the women’s longest drive award, albeit by technicality.
