Vancouver Jobs Market Outpacing Region: Is the City returning to its Roots?

Vancouver is seeing a softening in jobs just as the nation as a whole is, but compared to the rest of the Metro Area, we seem to be kicking butt and taking names. All data points to Clark County as still healthy and robust but a little softer than the previous few years with Clackamas and Washington counties lagging behind significantly and Multnomah still in a bit of a job recession....

Another Viewpoint Unit on Market & What’s Happening Downtown?

Vancouver continues with bustling activity on Weekends

Downtown Vancouver is noticeably busier on the weekends so far this "summer" season. I know officially summer starts this upcoming weekend 🙂 This past Saturday I picked up my son at the train station around 10:30 in the morning and the pedestrian traffic was quite strong. It wasn't limited to Esther Short Park either. Thousands of people were wandering around from Mill Plain all the way downtown to the Waterfront....
