Co-founder and The Law Shop attorney Andrea McGinn recently presented at the Iowa State Bar Association Annual Juvenile Law Seminar on the 2025 statute she helped draft and successfully pass regarding parent-child contact during child welfare cases.

Andrea was honored to join a panel alongside a Judge, assistant county attorney, and state public defender to discuss this important legislation and its impact on families across Iowa. More than 100 Iowa child welfare case attorneys attended the seminar both virtually and in person for this meaningful conversation.
