I’m really going to miss sitting in those stands watching my baby girl play.

There’s just something about being in my favorite place, cheering her on, holding my breath during the tough moments, and beaming with pride when she leaves it all on the court. Watching her grow, not just as an athlete but as a young woman, has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

This season has been my favorite, not because of the wins (though those were sweet), but because I got to watch her play with heart, grit, and kindness every single game.

I’ll miss the sounds of the gym, the late nights, the nerves, and the proud mama tears. These are the moments I know I’ll carry with me forever. 🤍

So thankful I got a front row seat to this chapter of her life. beautifully:

My boys… all four of them. 💙 There’s truly nothing like it. Each one is so incredibly special, and being their mama is a feeling you can’t even put into words.

Today Makenna had her senior pictures… and I can’t even put into words how emotional it all feels. This is the start of her last year of high school, the beginning of so many endings and new beginnings all at once.

I’m so incredibly excited for her, watching her step confidently into this next chapter… but at the same time, my heart aches knowing how quickly time has flown. It feels like just yesterday I was walking her into kindergarten, and now we’re counting down the “lasts.”

Senior year… here we go. 🥹 I’m so proud of her and beyond grateful I get to be her mama and get a seat right next to her 🩷 mom.
