HAPPY CLOSING DAY! 🎉 Huge congratulations to Trenton and Haylie on closing on their very first home today!

Haylie first reached out on March 23, a mere four days before baby Mabel made her arrival. We all met at my office shortly after for a buyer consult to answer all their questions, and then it was time to go home shopping. Once Mabel was here, I jumped back in and showed them a home a few days out of the hospital. 😂

We knew that in a first-time buyer price point, timing was everything. One Friday, while driving home, I got a notification for a brand-new listing on E Ashland. We scheduled a showing within hours and were ready to write an offer. As we left, another showing group was walking in, and 30 minutes later I got a text from the listing agent that they were writing an offer too. Game on! I helped Trenton and Haylie tweak their offer strategy… and voilà—we won!

Before we knew it, closing day was here. I cannot wait to see how they update this little cutie. It already has so much charming original character and a large, flat backyard … adorable as is, but also full of potential to build equity. My favorite kind of home!

A big thank you to Kurt Moore - Movement Mortgage, for handling the financing and helping them take advantage of Iowa Finance Authority’s awesome first-time buyer program that I always rave about. And, shoutout to Key Closing Services, LLC for keeping us on schedule!

Trenton and Haylie were super fun to work with, and I’m so excited to watch them make this house their home! 🏡♥
