We had a great turn out at our initial meeting last night. Special thanks to Dean Kevin Marshall from the University of La Verne College of Law, Upland City Council Member Janice Elliott, Fernando Romero Director from the PEOC, Roberto De La Cruz from the UFW, Francisco Suarez, founding member of PEOC and Board Member, SB Legal Aid Staffer Michelle Dodd, Attorneys Andrea Martinez, Matthew Hunter, David Grossman, and everyone else in attendance for showing up and being willing to help out. Special thanks to Jessica, Jennifer, Breanna, Shawn, Moushell, Tom and Art for helping make the event seamless. Sending their regrets and expected at our next meeting are House of Representatives Member Gil Cisneros's office, National Women's Democratic Club Board Member Dr. Robert Kamansky, and Attorney James Sombrano.

It is the Mission of the Inland Empire Legal Aid to provide empowering legal assistance programs to secure equality, protect fundamental rights and access to basic needs, and to improve the lives of low income persons and consumers in the Inland Empire.

IELA envisions a diverse community where homeless, low-income, and disenfranchised members of our community have access to legal services to meet their basic needs and to redress acts of injustice and discrimination.
